Would be dancing with a tad more enthusiasm if someone at husband's work had not decided on an ALL-day training... on a Friday! Really! But, I am still thankful. Happy that the weekend is almost upon us.

It was born in September of 2008, when I decided to announce my pregnancy to the world (literally). People thought I was joking (apparently, no one thought I had a maternal side).

What surprised you most about parenthood?
Two things. First, how just when you think you couldn’t possibly be more exhausted, you find a whole new level of Tired. And second, how much it’s really possible to love another human being (cue the sappy awww.)
Something that recently made you laugh?
During a phone conversation with my mom…
ME: I’m so tired now, I don’t know how I could possibly handle two kids.
MOM: That’s what I said. But then, 14 months later, there you were!
ME: BwaHaHaHa. Wait…you mean I was an accident?
MOM: …Well, yes. But it all worked out okay!
Me: Ha. Ha. HA. And to think, I went 35 years blissfully ignorant of that fact! HaHa. Ha. HA. (semi-hysterical laughter).
If you had 2 hours of pure "me" time, what would you do?
Depending on my mood, I’d either find myself an escapist chick lit novel and go hang out in bed (while watching HGTV), or I’d grab the industrial-strength cleaning products and get my house shining (which would last approximately 5 minutes). The first option is far more likely, though.
