The flight went fairly well.
The cruise was outstanding.
Our ports (Barcelona, Valencia, Nice, Florence/Pisa, Rome) were gorgeous and awe-inspiring.
I highly recommend cousins (and 5 extra adults) for major travel with a small child.
Despite most of the world telling us we were crazy...
We are so thankful to have gone when we did!
By the way, I believe Rome is the hottest place on Earth in the summer.

Hats off to you! I think it's a great idea, but very difficult. Fun photos.
Aw man, that looked so fun! I'd love to travel with our kids, I think it would be great! People make such a huge deal out of stuff like that but really, kids are inconvenient whether you're at home, in a plane, on the sea..whatever. WE took our oldest camping with us several times after she was born and into her first year and people told us we were nuts! But she was part of our everyday life no matter where we were and she loved it! Now we have three and the real issue is expense, honestly. I realize it would be stressful, to an extent, to do a lot of traveling with three small children but the real issue is that it would cost a lot to feed all of them on the road, lol!
Go you! Looks like you had a blast! We did Italy for our honeymoon- but in January- freezing but romantic!
Love it! I think regardless of age, if you have the opportunity to travel you should! Glad you had a wonderful time!
uh, that would be undertaking!
my fingers have a mind of their own.
What an understaking! You're a brave mama, but it sounds (and looks) like you had a great time.
I remember you planning for this trip! It seems like so long ago/1
