Amelia's preschool obtained a professional portrait photographer to take the school photos this year. Gone are the days of cheesy fake library or paint-splattered paper backgrounds. Gone are the furry white pedestals to sit on and the funky ladders to lean against. That's what we had to endure in my day. Maybe that still exists in the middle and high schools? Luckily, I have several years before I find out.
The photographer wanted to take all the school photos outdoors in morning light. And they turned out beautiful! I knew Amelia was gorgeous, but this photo makes those sparkly blue eyes come alive. I bought the rights to the image, but it deserves a big shout-out. Thank you, Shelli Allen Photography!!!!
